CLAT Eligibility Criteria as per Number of Attempts & Nationality

2. Number of Attempts As per consortium there ain’t no set limit on number of Attempts. Candidates can take both CLAT UG/PG exams an unlimited number of times.

Candidates from SC/ST category require a total of 45% marks.

CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2022: KEY TAKEWAY

  • Candidates who do not meet the CLAT 2022 eligibility criteria will just be debarred, even if they cross the entrance exam. As a consequence, candidates must carefully read the NLU Consortium’s eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must obtain the minimum required marks in the qualifying exam (Class 12 for CLAT UG and final year of graduation for CLAT PG). Candidates who do not obtain the required minimum marks in the qualifying examination will be disqualified from the CLAT admission process.

  • Candidates who are taking the qualifying examination must submit their qualifying exam results, as well as their mark sheet/certificate, at the time of counselling, or their admission will be cancelled.

  • Eligible candidates under the reserved category, domicile category, must disclose supporting documentation.
