CLAT

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level law entrance exam for admission to 22 national law universities and more than 70 affiliated colleges. 

The exam is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) in offline, pen and paper format. Candidates who pass the examination will be eligible for admission to 5-year integrated LLB and LLM programmes offered by the participating national law universities.

CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria

There are only two major factors that surround eligibility criteria of CLAT Exam, Including:

  • First one “Educational Qualification”,
  • Second one “The Age Limit”.

Note: Candidates preparing for their 12th class examination are also eligible to take CLAT 2022 Exam. However, it is vital for them to bear one thing in mind that their candidacy will be taken away if they fail to meet the eligibility criteria. 

CLAT – Registration Process

The Registration Process of CLAT is pretty simple and easy. All you need is to follow up these 4 basic registration steps :

  1.  Going to the official CLAT Registration website.
  2. Next is “Filling out the application form.” 
  3. The third step is to “Upload all the Basic Documents.”
  4. And Final step involves “Application Fee Payment.”

Usually, CLAT Application forms stay active for a good span of 3 months. It is easily available on the official CLAT website on 1st of January & stays there till 31st march of every year.

Registration Fees 

The most important part of the registration process is making “Application Fee Payment”.In order to complete the registration process candidates first must pay off the application fee.

Usually, CLAT Application will cost candidates around Rs.4000. For General Category. And around Rs. 3500 for SC & ST Candidates.

The Application Fee can be easily paid using online mode of payment liek Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
